Update the plugin for supporting other OS (not only Ubuntu/Debian) as a Docker Host

Currently only Ubuntu/Debian Docker Host are supported for this plugin (tested with Ubuntu 20.04).

The plugin needs to be adapted for accepting other OS, such as Windows, MacOS etc.

With the merged branch the plugin should be able to run in macos m1/m2 arm architectures

Still problems. This time with DevcontainerConnect in MacOS for Terminal.app and iTerm.app
