css and less directories?

Just re-installing my WPBS download to ensure cleanliness after modification, I see the "wordpress-bootstrap" directory contains two folders that don't come with the latest theme download... "css" and "less".

I don't recall why they are there...

"css" contents:

  • bootstrap.css
  • mixins.css
  • old
  • responsive-utilities.css
  • responsive.css
  • utilities.css
  • variables.css (timestamp mostly Aug 9, 2012 @ 0950)

"less" contents:

  • 42 *.less files (timestamp mostly Aug 9, 2012 @ 0951)

What are these and why might they be there?

Is there a way to get the css folder and contents?
