Unexpected behavior when typing in greek

1. Searching for nodes pressing the space key, doesn't work when typing greek in the search bar.
   
2. The following key combinations do not have the expected effect on a greek keyboard layout.

                 typing                                 expected output  
•       ; + character o or Ο →                  ό or Ό                    
  
•     shift + ; + character ι →                   ϊ
  
•   AltGR + ; + character ι →                  ΐ
  
• Additionally, unexpected double typing happens.

for example, typing: (shift+μ) + (;+α) + (shift+ι) + ο + ς the result is Μμάάϊος instead of Μάϊος (the Greek word for May)

μ (the capital letter for μ is M ) is the Greek character for m α is the greek character for a ι is the greek character for i ς is the greek character for s

any ideas?

I can't enter Japanese correctly either. In this video, I enter カメラ, but the search box only contains the last ラ.
