[Feature Request]: Section for small tweaks

Open igorpecovnik opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Which feature would you like to have?

There are several small system tweaks that are set differently at Ubuntu and Debian, but we might want to have them in the menu. Example:

  • adding all users to sudoers
  • showing dmesg logs without being sudo user
  • changing log verbosity LOGLEVEL
  • enable / disable automatic updating
  • ...

We can have 10-20 such entries, which means System folder would quickly be too cluttered. Adding subsection Tweaks under System or new top level menu?

A working (ie. more advanced) interface/method for working with dtb overlays. As soon as I upgrade anything like kernel, uboot, headers or similar they stop working and I've had to hunt down the dts files and compile them myself - which makes them user-overlays and therefore not appearing in the UI list.
