After the upgrade to kernel version 6.12.18, RockPi 4b (and apparently C also) doesn't boot.

I think this is a similar problem as in #39. I.e. not a kernel problem, but a U-boot problem.

The community comment says that the HDMI remains blank, without even U-boot printouts, which is my symptom exactly, and indicates a u-boot problem rather than kernel problem.

Here are the supported rock4 configs in U-boot (version 2025.07):

configs/rock-4c-plus-rk3399_defconfig
configs/rock-4se-rk3399_defconfig
configs/rock-pi-4c-rk3399_defconfig
configs/rock-pi-4-rk3399_defconfig

So, no 4b. But if you think any of these is compatible, I can build a u-boot binary and upload is to my google disk as for 4se in #39.

Please, let me know if you want to test it.

Actually, 4b may be compatible with 4se. If so, please go ahead and try the u-boot binary mentioned in #39.
