Notifications settings' weirdnesses

I have several issues with the current notifications:

• The differentiation of the checked/uncheck state is not clear to me. It would be straightly obvious if the unchecked css was just the gray background and the green accent color as border:

• When in my settings I see a "notifications" tab, I understand it will be settings for the "notifications that I see in the notifications' popover", but there doesn't seem to be such settings anywhere ?

• Why do I have email settings in the notifications tab, where there's already a tab for the emails settings?
