Note: I just used potreeconverter 1.7 and I am not seeing the same issue.
It actually appears to be unrelated to las 1.4. Here is an example dataset: https://cloud.rockrobotic.com/share/f5bcf708-28fe-49fe-bd68-ad01d44f3857 Testing: Mac + Chrome (works) Mac + Firefox (works) Mac + Parallels Windows 10 +...
More info. I have found this issue on 11 datasets. The interesting thing is that I can change the Attribute from 'classification' to 'composite' in Windows and the dataset displays....
More info... The composite attribute does display the pointcloud...however you are not able to move the pointcloud or do any of the measurements on it.
@midnight-dev Thank you for the insight. That is the exact behavior that I'm seeing. For the systems that it fails on, it always fails. There are no console errors. @m-schuetz...
Also note, I am seeing that the gps time range is displaying as 0 on the above example:
I can confirm on each of the 11 example datasets that are failing for us the GPS Time within Potree is either 0 or all a single number. ...
@midnight-dev The workaround does indeed fix the issue! Thank you!
@midnight-dev note that removing the gps-time section from the metadata.json file causes odd loading issues. Changing max to equal min+1 works.
@midnight-dev I will for sure test it out and provide feedback.
