[vscode] Can't Sign in with Slack - Error: could not handle the request

When I try to Sign in with Slack, everything proceeds fine, except when I click Allow in my browser, I get Error: could not handle the request

I had previously had Chat working, however, I had to re-install my mac and now I get the above error.

I'm wondering if Slack doesn't like me trying to Allow again, but I can't find any existing integration or permissions type things within Slack to remove.

Does any one have any ideas on how to fix this please? Cheers!

So this was never resolved? I've seen a lot of people recommend this extension but if it's not working, I may have to uninstall. Very sad.

Here a year later with the same problem. FWIW, this is an installation on a remote SSH workstation. Uninstalling until this issue is updated.
