Feature request: fall back on Eevee renderer if Cycles not available

Some graphics cards, like mine, do not support the Cycles renderer. I had to manually edit __init__.py to change all instances of CYCLES to BLENDER_EEVEE. Can there be an automated way of falling back on Eevee if Cycles is not available?
