Breaking multiple google websites

Ive been using the remover for a while and it works well in most situations, but recently for some reason ive had an issue where when its enabled, both youtube and google slides stop responding and other things like google itself run slower than usual, but if i turn off the remover everything goes back to normal. Do you know what could be causing the issue? Thanks for the extension as a whole still though, its been very useful

I'm having a similar issue, though it's not just Google websites.

After the latest update, I noticed several websites I frequent for work (Office 365, Confluence) become unresponsive when this extension is enabled, and there is one or more processes Google Chrome Helper (Renderer) in the Activity Monitor running at high CPU. If I have enough tabs open, it actually starts slowing down my laptop.

This is happening on MacOS 10.15.7, Chrome 89.0.4389.90 (latest), and Deadname Remover 1.2.3.
