CSS transition animation of multiple levels

Would it be possible to add the CSS transition on the secondary menus to match the main slide down animation using this example: http://viljamis.com/demo/responsive-nav-multiple-levels/ ?

IIRC from past discussions about the subnavs (which seem to have been pulled from the latest release ? ) this isn't implemented.
