Adding unsolicited friends
💡 Describe your idea
Not being able to add friends without confirmation from the other player. (This is for the purpose of not adding players that you do not know and who only use this option to track more easily). This is the same if a player removes another player from their friends list, which automatically removes the other player that they have not yet removed.

Anything else
If I'm not wrong. The game already had that feature.
I am not sure but if I remember correctly if you have the other player on ignore the other player won't see your online status in friends list. On the other hand maybe using ignore is not a good strategy. So I think some strategy for the scenario of @Megajack64 is needed. Maybe a simpler approach could be to share online status in friends list only if being friends is mutual. This way noone can annoy you with friend requests.

Using "ignore" does not work, and the goal is to make it difficult to see where the player is and it is only because of the command (using / where), since when adding as a friend you only need to use the right mouse button. My suggestion is that it is not just about the visibility of the player status, is difficult to be found by someone you do not know in the game.
Maybe adding this behavior could also be applied to /where
