Downloading individual files from a torrent link

Migrating from https://github.com/webtorrent/webtorrent-cli, where you can do webtorrent http://myfile.torrent

My understanding is that aria2 can't show/select individual files from magnet links (https://github.com/aria2/aria2/issues/843#issuecomment-706978679), you have to pull the .torrent file itself, and file selection is broken now on webtorrent-cli, so I'm wondering if aria2c can recreate this either directly or by passing the file like from wget.

I tried wget -O - http://myfile.torrent | aria2c -i - --show-files but it doesn't work.

Wondering what the limitation is here / if I'm missing an obvious solution. It's really a tiny extra step but it would be nice to not have to save the .torrent files to disk.
