Imageupdater doesn't re-use kustomize edit tag

How come image-updater has different behavior to the standard kustomize edit set tag ?

It makes it inconsistent when working with custom tooling.

IE, in some cases in CI I want to set an image, so I'll re-use the standard kustomize pattern. ex resulting block:

- name: myimage
  newName: myregistry.azurecr.io/myimage
  newTag: myimage-3fe57e21fed668986a0f418bb07fd4617bfc7031

However imageupdater will pre-pend or append

- name: myregistry.azurecr.io/myimage
 newTag: myimage-3fe57e21fed668986a0f418bb07fd4617bfc7031
- name: myimage
 newName: myregistry.azurecr.io/myimage
 newTag: myimage-3fe57e21fed668986a0f418bb07fd4617bfc7031

To an existing block.

Makes it a bit annoying to use in conjunction with other tools.
