Feature: add/change default categories

Open JonathanWallace45 opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

I have some expenses that don't integrate the default categories but won't be useful to anyone else. This feature will help everyone with their statistics.

@JonathanWallace45 Thanks. I'm planning to add custom sub categories that must linked to a main category.

I assume that main categories are not able place at same level with other categories, of course, the app goals is to simplify the expense entry.

May I know what you mind for those sub categories under a main category should be supported in the app? or custom categories that are the same level with main categories?

I'm a home brewer so for me I'd like to have a beer category with malt, hops, yeast and hardware sub categories. But I guess that anyone with a hobby/job would like to have his own categories and sub categories.

@JonathanWallace45 OK.

I assume that you upvoted to have Custom Main Categories and Sub categories support.

That is really helpful, thanks.
