Possibly interfering with middle button

When the app is running, there's sometimes™ an interference with middle click, as in it doesn't work in the first click. I've noticed this with two different mice, inside Chrome, when clicking a link to open in a new tab. Is this something you've noticed too? Are there some logs I can provide for troubleshooting?

I have not noticed this in my own use, and I am a prodigious MMB user. Are you sure it's not just your mouse, Chrome, or OSX misbehaving? I only capture M4 and M5 events, not M3.

I wouldn't know which tool of the chain is responsible, but the fact that happens with 2 different mice (or mouses? 😁) and it doesn't when I have the app closed, makes me curious.

Can you maybe point me to what logs I could check to start ruling out possible interferences?

I've recently got a "Anker 2.4 GHz" wireless vertical mice. The back-/forth sidebuttons are supported really well by this project!

The Anker mice does have another side-Button, which I'd really like to use gesture to switch between desktops. (hold the button, move the mice and switch the desktop in the given direction)

Would this be possible to implement?
