Most tools integrated into this system are open-source or downloaded from official websites; only a few are cracked versions, which have been tested.
I cannot guarantee that all penetration testing tools are free of backdoors by their original authors. If you have concerns, you can choose not to download them. Again, please do not use penetration testing tools on a physical machine; this is one of the reasons why this system does not provide ISO images.
