Code style: Standardize whitespace and indentation

Currently I find a mix of spaces and tabs in the codebase. The convention in Nextcloud, and also in the wider PHP world (PSR-2 or PSR-12) is to use 4 spaces for indentation, no tabs. (for the record, in Drupal it is 2 spaces) I think it would be a good idea to clean it up :)

I created the .editorconfig file a few months ago for the new php files.
