Physical buttons are unusable when changing resolution

When I change the resolution and turn on the service the resolution changes correctly but the physical buttons of the phone do not respond to any press nor light up. When I turn off the service the buttons work again.

My device: -Huawei Ascend G6-U10 -Android 4.4.2 (EMUI 3.0)
