Is the bundled comic.qlgenerator component able to function by itself without Simple Comic being installed? The ability to preview comic files seems to disappear after removing the Simple Comic app, even when the qlgenerator is still present in the appropriate Library folder.

The QuickLook generator expects the XADMaster (which expects UniversalDetector) and WebPMac to be somewhere in the Linker search paths, which are configured around looking for them in the embedded application's Framework folder.
