mapfish-print version dependency

I'm having difficulty getting this working, but I suspect this related to the version of mapfish-print. The latest mapfish-print is version 3x (as of March 2019). At the time of last update of this project I believe mapfish-print v2.x was current. If it's a case it doesn't work with mapfish-print version 3 it might be a good idea to update the docs with that information.
