Failure to communicate with SSL enabled

Environment:

  • 2 Virtual Machines (cloned from each other, exactly the same operating environment)
  • OS: Arch Linux
  • ArangoDB Starter: 0.10.4 (precompiled, downloaded binary from GitHub)
  • ArangoDB Server: 3.3.4 (built from source)
  • OpenSSL: 1.1.0g

The starter keeps reporting tls: oversized record received with length 21536 when attempting to connect to each other. I used --ssl.auto-key in each of the options when creating the cluster. The certificate generated correctly without issues.

hi @samrg472 We've not seen this error before. Can you add logs for the starter & database server (datadir//arangod.log)

Also, is there anything special about your network configuration? Any specific MTU?
