Question about implementation

Hi Arun, Thank you for the awesome implementation of IWAE. I have been going through your implementation to check my understanding of the IWAE paper. Specifically I couldn't understand how you could implement eq. 8 of IWAE paper with lines 181, 197. It looks to me that you are taking the mean of the logs instead of taking the log of the mean i.e. first the expression inside the log should be evaluated and averaged, before we can take its log. Of course since the implementation works, I think the issue is with my understanding. Can you help clarifying the issue? Atabak
