skipping a letter

i am currently stuck on one letter (q) and i think it would be helpful to skip practicing that letter and moving on to something else like j, as practacing these long words can cause a lot of fatigue.

I agree 1000%. I think this is a huge weakness of this product. I got stuck on c for a few days and had to quit practicing altogether a few times to stop the cramping. I eventually went back to hunt and peck just to get past c by tricking it that I was going faster.
