bug: typing accents using dead keys produce duplicated letters

Platform: Ubuntu 23.04 Browser: Firefox 118.0.1 I'm using the built-in English (programmer Dvorak) layout.

Doing Typing Test with text settings set to "Common words" and language set to "French (Français)" image typing accent using dead keys (for example, Alt+^ then i) normally produce a single î but keybr register it as two. image
