Update instructions for macOS 12.5

Added information about which Python version is most likely to work, and how to debug startup issues.

I tried both Python 3 from asdf and from Homebrew without success, receiving errors about dyld libraries and permissions among other things. Using /usr/bin/python3 worked directly out of the box, so I think that should be documented as the default.
