Integrate 2 factor authentication via Phone text (similar to what's app)

Hey! great project. I was wondering if it is possible to integrate 2 factor authentication? Something similar to what whatsApp does. Like it sends a text and reads the text itself (without having the user to re-enter the text).

I have not put any work into this for a while. I do need to clean it up and add more but that is low on my list of things to do. Feel free to help out and contribute if you want
