Yes, that would work, but only if needed otherwise I see it lagging as it refreshes each time whether article has full content or it's missing.

I would also like to change the sound. The default I use is very quiet, I don't hear it and then the tea is ruined!

I'm am also getting this, very sticky behaviour trying to zoom. Sometimes 2 hands, a finger of each, needed to push apart horizontally is the only way.
