Parse failed: template

Hello, I followed your instructions provided there: https://digital-garden-hugo-theme.vercel.app/articles/installation/

but when i run npm run dev i get this error:

> [email protected] dev
> hugo serve

Error: add site dependencies: load resources: loading templates: "/home/tadas/hugo/intranet/themes/digitalgarden/layouts/_default/_markup/render-link.html:1:1": parse failed: template: _default/_markup/render-link.html:1: unclosed action

How could i solve this?
