My AIT-2 Smooth Experience

• LXD system container on Bare Metal
• CPU: 8 Cores allocated (24 cores on standby)
• RAM: 32 GB allocated (96 GB on standby)
• Disk Storage: NVME SSD (Filesystem: ZFS)
• Bandwidth: 1 Gbps unlimited
• OS: Ubuntu LTS Focal Fossa AMD64
• Cost: 100 USD

Overall Experience: Smooth and Great (no issues encountered from start to finish)

• Received the testnet tokens 5 hours after receiving an email that I got selected.
• Started my node within a few minutes by just following the official guide from Aptos.
• No problems encountered when I started my node. Started at Rank 40 with 13% Participation.
• Applied all the updates as announced, no problems encountered as well. My rank keeps on climbing.
• I noticed all the updates work as intended. The node became more efficient in resources.
• I tried my best helping others with issues in the Discord channel #selected-ait2
• The testnet AIT2 ended. Left the active set, withdrawn the tokens, and shutdown the node.
• I ended up in Rank 5

I want to thank the Aptos Team from the bottom of my heart for this opportunity to be able to join the AIT-2. It was indeed a wonderful and great experience. My next step is to dig deeper on Aptos by studying the documentation and learn more from devs and other fellow operators so that I'll be able to share and help more those that will encounter issues in the future. I strongly believe in this project and I'll try my best to contribute in this project.
