Hi,

This would conflict with the existing allocation for aprs.fi (APFI??). How about APNIFC ?

The device identifiers are for APRS software and hardware. "National Interagency Fire Center Alerts" sounds like a source of data, not APRS software. What is the software used to forward this traffic?

Sorry for the delay, I never noticed your comment.

That would work I suppose to use NIFC as part of it.

The software is part of a python bot I created and use with my various APRS bots. It actively pulls data from a fire agency in the US, then parses and modifies it for APRS to be used to provide alerts for current wildfires.
