Day of the week

I'm going to add day of the week e.g. 'Monday' using calculated column from the date in the SharePoint list as an addition to manage my bookings screen and upcoming bookings front page as I think this is an improvement that makes it more friendly? I'm not sure - rather than the calculated column, could that the calculation be done in the Powerapp - it would be just the way I would approach I think to use a calculated column if poss.
