Improve e2e tests

The current e2e tests are hard to understand and maintain.

A new flow should ideally separate the cluster management and the test concerns, allowing for a user to either re-use an existing cluster or create one if needed. Also think the tests should move to go to make sure they can be easily extended.

This proposal needs some investigation time and clarification
