The FANUC Customer Resource Center (CRC) website https://crc.frc.com/admin_user_functions/modifyuser.asp has passwords limited to

  • alphanumeric characters
  • underscore "_"
  • hyphen "-"

Trying "!" for example in the password causes this popup listing their requirements
