How to modify the current printer data?

Dear team,

I'm a new to working with cups. I would like to verify my follow is functioning correctly by using cups. Here is my flow Trigger print action -> Read job printer data -> Modify job data -> Print with new job data

Is the above flow is possible? If yes, please guide me how can I achieve it?
