Unable to get list of printer drivers: Success
Hardware - Raspberry Pi Zero W Software - Raspbian OS Lite bullseye (32-bt)
When I try to add my Samsung SCX-4725 printer via the WebGUI, it says: "unable to get list of printer drivers: success"
I have ran /usr/lib/cups/driver/foomatic list via SSH which returned a long list of printer drivers including the one I need for my printer. _foomatic:Samsung-SCX-4x25-lj5gray.ppd" en "Samsung" "Samsung SCX-4x25 Foomatic/lj5gray" "MFG:Samsung;MDL:SCX-4x25 Series;CMD:PCL5E,PCL6,FWV,EXT;DRV:Dlj5gray,R0,M0,TG;"

Has anybody experience this issue before? Is there a fix?

We are having some problems on Linux mint 21.1 and Ubuntu 23. After update and upgrade the system, going to install some printers - Epson L1455 or HP 432, cups stays long time trying to find printers and give us message - error success and no install printers. It does not works. We can do printers works if not do update and upgrade system, only install Mint and install printers, so before all, install the printers. This is not good solution, because after you update and upgrade system, can not install more printers. Strange, cups ever works fine!

After installing a Brother hl5340D I have exactly the same problem with ubuntu 22.04. Impossible to add a new printer. Very annoying.

We get new Mint version 21.2 and now works fine! You can stay with Ubuntu 20.04 I think that it is works well and you I agree you, very annoying
