This is regular Windows 11 22H2 on the brand new Dell. The diagnostic shows that _explorer.exe_ interjects twice and steals the focus. Besides _mspaint.exe/pbrush.exe_, _calc.exe_ reliably starts out of focus...

I am not sure if it matters, but I guess that you tested a current msys2 installation with bash. I would like to try your setup before squarely blaming Git-for-Windows.
I filed with msys2-runtime as a point of departure from cygwin.

I do not know why `set_categories` fails to add the new ones for you. Perhaps you need to added `ordered=True`. Notice that in my example I use a different method...
It is positive. The bit 31 is 0. The limit seems to be at 0x4fffffff, or 20479.99998 `sqrt_fx16_16_to_fx16_16( 0x50000000 )` returns `0x800000`,, or `sqrt(20480) = 128`, instead of **143.1084**.
It is weird at 0x64000000 good answers return again.
