API endpoint for docs ingestion

Looking at API docs I don't see any endpoint to automate ingestion process. Is there some endpoint for that? Maybe just documentation is incomplete?

OTOH where exactly is ChromaDB being kept? Let's say I'd like to make ingestion process separate from RestAI. Is it possible? Let's say with llamaindex.
