Seems at least in saucy there is a "libgtk2-appindicator-perl" package. Without indicator support, running without the --fg flag makes it look like the script did nothing -- it's not obvious...

Very basic indicator support on my aperomsik/msjnc:indicator_wip branch. Not robust enough for a pull request yet but thought I'd mention it. For some reason, it only works with --fg; but...

I've actually implemented this, along with an Android wrapper. Now that I see you are on github, I should start cleaning up my changes and opening some pull requests.

Seems for me it was a conflict in folder names. I removed the folder named "Gnome-Shell-Window-Buttons-Extension-11_e.g.o" (dated 2013) and then the shell was willing to install as "[email protected]".

@red0ck33g did you try other font sizes? Start from the smallest one, if that works try the next one up just in case it works too.

I for one am curious why Android Terminal Emulator was chosen as the base rather than ConnectBot.
