I can't drag-drop images

Somehow somehow dropping image files from Nautilus onto the bar where the typing notifications appear (right over the input field) works. Actually, it looks like trying to drop the image on a “white empty space” is what doesn't work... I wonder if the “empty background” is considered a hole somehow and one needs to make the whole widget valid as a drag-and-drop target or something like that.

One more thought: this can be related to #26 — I won't consider them duplicate as of yet because the issue descriptions are different, but my gut feeling is that fixing one could also fix the other.
