Is there a way to get our StarRocks database listed on the bottom of https://superset.apache.org/
The front page of https://superset.apache.org/ has a bunch of databases. Is it possible to get our StarRocks database (starrocks.io) to also be listed there?
Good question. It seems arbitrary to me which logos are where. StarRocks logo does appear on the main repo page here: https://github.com/apache/superset, added in this PR https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/23209. And looking at its before and after shots, this PR https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/24393 seems to have removed StarRocks from the page you are talking about, the main landing page 🤔
I don't know which would be best for Superset: listing logos of all supported DBs or only those that meet some criteria (popular? trendy?) I get that we might not want to have multiple pages of logos, but also don't know how we'd pick and choose which to feature.
Hi, @michael-s-molina is this issue still open for contribution? i would like to work on it.
Hi @Luwa-Tech. I think @rusackas might know what's the criteria to add logos. If not, we may add this to the next Town Hall agenda and discuss @sfirke.
I don't see any reason why we can't add StarRocks to the main page. But I think it's a good idea to discuss at the next Town Hall to establish explicit guidelines for these.
hello folks, Is the issue still open? I am going to try.
Can I work on this?
Sure, feel free to open a PR 👍
Closing this since it's not a bug, but anyone here is still more than welcome to add a logo if they'd like!
On a side note, I'm not just being dismissive. We hope to align the DBs that are on our tesging/support matrix with the docs and readme (which currently don't even match each other!). So, it's a bit of a spring cleaning TODO, but we hope to be more comprehensive here soon.
