I like the idea of doing this. Netty 3 is not a good version to be relying on. I don't think Netty 3 will have issues fixed in it any more. Would still need to be discussed on the Pekko dev list before proceeding.

Adjusting milestone for 2.0.0 since community decision was made to keep classic remoting in order to comply with semver
