Consider needle package

we should also consider switching to the needle package, as we did for the openwhisk npm. needle has proven to have much faster (and much better outlier) startup time -- saving perhaps 50-100ms. the request package has very poor load time performance. https://github.com/apache/incubator-openwhisk-client-js/issues/77
