Unable to open project after updating to netbeans 22

Open vetalpeo opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Apache NetBeans version

Apache NetBeans 22

What happened

-Project does not open with 'Unexpected Exception'

Language / Project Type / NetBeans Component

Java web application (Ant)

How to reproduce

-Installed Netbeans 22 for Windows, accepted to 'import settings from previous installation' (Netbeans 21)

-The payara server(5.2022.5) we work with in development was not connecting, so removed it and added it again in the 'Services' window.

-Checked the Payara server settings on Netbeans 21 to confirm settings exactly the same

-Still no connection, so uninstalled and reinstalled Netbeans 22

-Went to work on a project already imported in the setup process (was created with Netbeans 8.2 and updated along time up to Netbeans 21 with no issues)

-Project does not open

Did this work correctly in an earlier version?

Apache NetBeans 21

Operating System

Windows Server 2022 21H2. compilation 20348.2461

JDK

Oracle JDK 17.0.6 64bit

Apache NetBeans packaging

Apache NetBeans provided installer

Anything else

Tried to clean install Netbeans 22 but still run into the same issue. Looks like some project file has been lost/damaged
