Create a new Google Group for Apache JMeter because old JMeter Google Group is no longer a recommended (spams)
Use case
The old JMeter Google Group is corrupted since april 2024 by tens of thousands of spam and fake accounts created by bots. I reported thousands of spams to Google Group. JMeter Google Group is no longer a recommended Google Group and a warning message is displayed "JMeter Forum has been identified as containing spam, malware, or other malicious content." https://groups.google.com/g/ptgram24
Please open a official new Google Group for Apache JMeter with new rules to avoid fake account and spam.

The Jmeter community should have a discord server. I believe that it is easier to manage users/posts effectively
But, again this is my view - the decision is completely relied on users groups and devs group
Currently there are other Google groups around Apache JMeter like :
- the "jmeter-plugins" group (https://groups.google.com/g/jmeter-plugins),
- the "maven jmeter plugin users" group (https://groups.google.com/g/maven-jmeter-plugin-users),
- the "JMeter en français" group (https://groups.google.com/g/jmeter-fr). So i could be natural to have a new Google Group or another discussion canal.
I guess we could open GitHub Discussions. I've raised that a while ago, however @pmouawad was not fond of it: https://lists.apache.org/thread/0nqsxr93hlmd67c6wrlqg4z3sws0gnjy
Philippe, WDYT of GitHub Discussions for the user group?
While I am not @pmouawad, I am not against opening the Github Discussions, as I hope those entries will automatically find a way into our mailing list archives. I don't want to open a Google Group for the same reason, as I believe that those discussions would not find their way into the mailing list archives.
