In the user manual, you haven't mention that simulation of a native app is not possible with JMeter. I have recorded the requests for a mobile application and tried executing it. While executing, it's not opening the browser/ application in the mobile. Unable to simulate the exact process in the mobile device.
Are you proposing to change the documentation in jmeter.apache.org/index.html under heading 'JMeter is not a browser' to state 'JMeter is not a browser or Mobile/Native Application'? Or are you requesting a new section in get-started.html repeating this? I find it quite clear from both pages that JMeter will not be driving the operation of a Mobile or Native application on the device, rather 'it works at protocol level'. Happy for others to chime in though if they feel it unclear.
