All writer has been finished sucessfully, but the reader initialization failed on the error message of Can't get expected taskAttemptId .

From my sight, if the upstream map writer finished sucessfully, the blockManagerId will be created and then sent to driver side for the reader retrieving. If so, the above error won't happen.

This is a rpc request. The executor will ask the data from the driver. Is it a rpc failure?
