Install instructions fail in numerous places

name of repository is wrong in one line, many "no such files" when attempting an install

Hey, he is right, the instructions show the wrong link wget https://github.com/Prajithp/cpanel/raw/master/EA4/ea-apache24-mod_pagespeed-1.9-32.11.src.rpm

it should be wget https://github.com/pagespeed/cpanel/blob/master/EA4/ea-apache24-mod_pagespeed-latest-stable.src.rpm

anyways, I gess he's still using EA3, isn't it supported anymore?

I was also curious of the EA3 installation intructions being depreciated. Unfortunately with EA4 not compatible with CloudLinux we have no options but to continue with EA3 so would appreciate both routes being available until this is settled.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but precisely since a couple days ago (1.56.01), EA4 is compatible with CloudLinux. Am I wrong?

@benitoll Ah, yes you are right, I am on the Release Tier and still on (11.54.0.21) so don't see that yet. Also as it is released in beta I'm gonna stick to EA3. Thanks for the heads up though.

ea-apache24-mod_pagespeed-latest-stable.src.rpm fails for me (CentOS 6) with the errors:

  • error: File must begin with "/": %{_httpd_moddir}/*.so
  • error: File must begin with "/": %{_httpd_modconfdir}/*.conf

I'm running EA4 (just converted from EA4) and have grabbed the lastest RPM from https://github.com/pagespeed/cpanel/blob/master/EA4/ea-apache24-mod_pagespeed-latest-stable.src.rpm and get the following error when following Readme install instructions.

root@lpws1 [~]# rpmbuild --rebuild ea-apache24-mod_pagespeed-latest-stable.src.rpm Installing ea-apache24-mod_pagespeed-latest-stable.src.rpm error: ea-apache24-mod_pagespeed-latest-stable.src.rpm cannot be installed

Hi, I also have the same error, on CloudLinux 7:

  • error: File must begin with "/": %{_httpd_moddir}/*.so
