Base master on the latest stable release
Would be nice if when someone cloned fluo that the clone was always based on something that will work well. Could always base master on the latest release. we can not do this till after beta because master is passed alpha.
I really like this idea. Users via GitHub are going to start working from master or at least start reading the master docs. I realized in #257 that it's hard to easily redirect them to latest stable release.
I suppose after beta-1 we can create a 1.0 branch and do all 1.0.X-SNAPSHOT work there and stop updating master. We could start making pull reqs to 1.0 branch instead of master.
Yeah I held off on doing this because either it was going to cause a really nasty backwards merge, or someone as going to have to force push master- which I really wouldnt want to see, ever.
+1 for holding off until beta to do this.
