[Feature] New npm release
What problem does this feature solve?
The last package update on npm was 4 months ago (v6.0.0). There's been new changes since then. Could we get a new release? If not, what's the release cycle methodology here?
What does the proposed API look like?
Release a new version

Thanks, that's relevant, but this issue is more about the production release cycle.
How do you decide when to release to production? It just seems a bit weird to be pushing daily to nightly without ever having even a patch version releasable to production, no?
I concur. The header of nightly builds package has a big banner:
⚠️ ATTENTION PLEASE
This is nightly build of Apache ECharts. Please DON't use it in your production environment.
It would be great to get a production-ready 6.0.1 release. Can we hope for it anytime soon? We're actually holding off a migration to 6.x because of that.
We are scheduled to release version 6.0.1 this month. We aim for a ~6-month release cycle, but this can vary.
